Students in Mrs. Tuori’s second grade class at Lionville
Elementary School opted to not buy holiday presents for their teacher but
rather donate money instead to a local charity. Mrs. Mary Beth Drobish
of Spring-Brook farm in West Chester visited the class to accept a $200.00
donation to her farm.
Spring-Brook farm is a
working farm that provides animal-assisted activities for children with
disabilities. The Barn at Spring Brook
Farm does not charge these children but rather collects money through fund
raising events, and charitable donations.
Mrs. Drobish brought each child a book about
the barn and invited them to come visit the barn in the Spring.
