Former DHS graduate Mark
Ernst and Nancy Tuttle, chair of the Exton Chamber of Commerce Business and
Education Partnership, invited teachers at our two high schools to visit some
of the area’s fastest growing companies on their next inservice
day.
The Chamber is sponsoring
the “Magic” bus tour and will take teachers on a tour through local companies
Universal Technical Institute, Bentley Systems and Kinsey Nash.
“The tour is intended to
show teachers how much 21st century skills are needed in today’s
competitive job market”, said Mr. Ernst.
“The Chamber hopes that information and ideas gained from the tour
will be shared with students. Having
a strong background in math, engineering, science and technology is essential
in today’s job market.”
